The One He Can't Have

In a new moon day where street lights provided the only illumination, a shady figure lurked in the shadows around the street corner. A guy dropped a girl which seemed to be her house and took off. The lurky shadow watched her plant a kiss on the guy’s cheek, waved him goodbye and went inside her house. The lights in the first floor lit up. Through the window, he could see her tying her hair into a pony tail and then she drew the curtains. The shady figure only left when the lights in her room were put out. The same shady figure was waiting outside the restaurant. He was wrapped in a black jacket and wore a matching hat. The girl rushed out of the restaurant and looked angry. As she approached him, he put on his glasses and dipped lower supporting his back on the tree.
