The Tale of Naruto Uzumaki

The Ichiraku Raman is open and here's a delicious serving of Miso Pork Ramen to enjoy while you are here.

I was introduced to the world of Konohagakure by a friend of mine and grew an instant liking for it. As far as it goes, I grew with it. The tale of the number 1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja is the one you wouldn’t want to miss. Here are a few moments from the series that I loved!

The Chunin Exams:

The chunin exams arc is the story of many people. Naruto overpowered Neji of the Hyuga clan - a born genius who was supposed to win the fight without breaking a sweat. It was then, the people of Konoha began to acknowledge him.

“Stop trying to tell me you can’t change what you are. You can do it, too. ‘Cause after all, unlike me, you’re not a failure.”

This brings upon a change within Neji and later bring Hiashi Hyuga and the Hyuga clan to think about the ill treatment of the Hyuga's side branch.

There were other breath-taking brawls during the exams – Rock Lee taking on Gaara and Shikamaaru vs Temari. Although Rock Lee lost, he did not go down without giving a fight. Despite being unable to perform Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, he was able to fight Gaara at equal. The latter battle was about how strategic a battle could go as Shikamaru kept the audience in awe with his quick deduction and strategy. I can go on and on writing about these two but I’ll save that for later!

Wind Style: Rasenshuriken:

Fast forward to Shippuden after the Sasuke retrieval mission was a failure. Naruto had the Fourth Hokage’s Rasengan in his arsenal but it wasn’t enough to take on the Akatsuki who were after the tailed beasts. It was also when Naruto’s rigorous training paid off as he mastered and created his very own jutsu. Its power was demonstrated against Kakuzu and later became Naruto’s finishing move.

Naruto vs Pain:

This probably was one of the best battles ever fought in Naruto Shippuden. The two sibling students of Pervy Sage go one on one at each other, with each having their own definition of bringing peace to the hatred ridden shinobi world.

“If You Don’t Share Someone’s Pain, You Can Never Understand Them.”

We also got to see the honoured Sage mode in the series for the second time after Jiraiya!

The way Hinata stood up to Pain to save Naruto brings tears. She declares her love for Naruto and vowed to fight even though she knew that she wasn’t a match for Pain.

Konohamaru taking on one of the Pains with his Rasengan is also one to watch out for.

At the end after defeating Pain, Naruto promises Nagato and resolves to take all the hatred of the shinobi world upon himself and put an end to the vicious cycle of hatred. He becomes the village’s hero.

Itachi Uchiha of the Leaf:

“Knowledge and awareness are vague, and perhaps better called illusions. Everyone lives within their own subjective interpretation.”

Itachi was by far my favourite character of the series and wouldn’t miss writing about him. Itachi’s mastery of sharingan is unparalleled only to be rivalled by his best friend Shisui the teleporter. I could only wish that both of them had more screen time.

However, Itachi’s Will of the Fire might not align well with Naruto’s. Naruto showed his own Will of the Fire when he saved the village and also Kakashi who chose to give up his life to take down Hiruko.

“No matter what darkness or contradictions lie within the village, I am still Itachi Uchiha of the Leaf”

Kakashi the Copy Ninja of the Leaf:

Kakashi is probably the only non-Uchiha who wields a Sharingan. He did have his own share of traumatic and tragic past but always chose to cling to the light. The Susanoo that he awakens with Obito’s eyes in the battle with Kaguya is one badass scene.

"In the shinobi world, those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon just one of their friends are worse than scum"

Might Guy vs Madara:

Might Guy might not look all strong but don’t be fooled by his looks and talk. His power rivalled many and eventually made even Madara Uchiha to acknowledge him.

"You have the gift of perseverance, and that's what makes you a genius."

Guy opened all the eight inner gates and fought in level with Madara Uchiha who had the power of the six paths. It was then Madara acknowledged Guy as the strongest taijutsu user he has ever fought.

"That may be true… but they don't just rot and die. They will become nourishment for the new, fresh leaves. The time when a new spring comes and the fresh leaves bud… is the peak of youth!! It's the time to burn, deep crimson!"

Talk No Jutsu:

Naruto’s strongest jutsu is perhaps not his Ultra-Big Ball Rasenshuriken or his Tailed beast Rasenshuriken but his Talk no jutsu. It has been effective against multiple shinobi at multiple times. Some of its victims were Zabuza, Gaara, Kurama, Nagato, Obito who fell flat.

And that’s enough anime for the day! I might have well started on Minato but felt nostalgic enough writing this. It’s a drag but it can’t be helped! Dattebayo!

Oh yeah I almost forgot, before I go, here are a few OSTs from Naruto that I really enjoyed! (P.S. For You has cute younger versions of our favourite Naruto characters)

Hope you enjoyed your stay and your Ramen here. Don’t forget to drop by later!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿงก
